Before joining Arrow Global, Lee was Chief Financial Officer at Virgin Money between October 2013 and August 2015, seeing the group through its successful IPO and into life as a listed company. Prior to this he held a number of roles at RBS between 2007 and 2013, culminating as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group.
Earlier in his career, Lee was Managing Director of Wachovia Securities’ Principal Finance team, Managing Director and Head of European Asset Finance at Credit Suisse and Head of Northern European Securitisation at BNP Paribas.
Paul has over 20 years’ experience in financial services roles both in the UK and overseas. He joins Arrow from leading global insurance business Sompo Canopius Group, where he has been in a variety of senior executive roles since 2013. Previously, Paul was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services division, following five years as a Finance Director at the quoted insurer, Hiscox. Paul is a Chartered Accountant, having trained at PwC.
Zachary Lewy is the Founder and Group Chief Investment Officer of Arrow Global. He was the CEO of the business from its inception before changing to his current role. He sits on all country boards and all group committees of Arrow. Prior to Arrow, Zachary was an Officer of Sallie Mae, a Director at Vertex (the BPO division of United Utilities), and a Founder and Executive Director of 7C (a U.K. BPO company acquired by Vertex).Zachary has previously chaired SCOR and was also the Chair of the UK Debt Buyers Association. He was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010.
Zachary is on the board of the English National Ballet, the English National Ballet School, and the organising committee for the Marie Curie Charity fundraiser. He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Economics with Honours and a Certificate in Applied and Computational Mathematics with Honours.
Oliver has overall responsibility for UK Operations in Arrow across our three main UK sites and network of external service providers. Oliver has over 14 years’ experience in corporate law, investment banking and operational roles. Prior to joining Arrow in 2013, Oliver worked for Deutsche Bank AG in its UK Corporate Finance team in London with a focus on originating, structuring and executing M&A and equity capital market transactions and advising FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients. Oliver qualified as a lawyer with Allen & Overy and holds a law degree from the University of Sheffield and the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Qualification.
Lee is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience in commercial finance and general management roles. Prior to joining Arrow, he was Business Unit Director and Financial Controller of Vertex, and Managing Director of Kidsunlimited and Isoqar. Lee has extensive experience of working internationally, and has a degree in Business Studies.
Before becoming Arrow's Italy CEO, John had been the CEO at Whitestar since January 2010 and has more than 18 years of experience in different capital market institutions. Prior to joining WhitesStar, John served as Chief Operating Officer of MIAC Assurance Corporation, a financial guaranty firm funded by Macquarie Capital and Citadel LLC. He previously served as Head of Operations at SCA which he joined after an independent consultant role overseeing the build-out of the first independent, non-performing loan servicing company in Portugal as its COO and CIO. Before joining SCA, John served as Chief Investment Officer at Clayton where he launched new businesses in RMBS surveillance and loan servicing. He began his career at MBIA.
Joost is the CEO of Vesting Finance and has been working in the financial industry for over 16 years. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Joost worked as operating partner at HAL Investments B.V.. He also served as an executive member of the board at HAL’S portfolio company Floramedia. Before that, Joost, was chief executive officer at GrandVision’s Masvisión (in Spain) and Investment Manager at HAL Investments B.V.. Joost has a Masters of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and Masters of Business Administration degree with honours from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial sector, João Bugalho has worked in financial institutions like Citibank Portugal, Banco Comercial de Macau, Interbanco (Banco Santander Consumer Portugal), Millennium BCP London Branch, Santander Consumer Multirent. Before joining Arrow, João held the post of Head of Operational Leasing and Fleet Management of Volkswagen Financial Services Brazil.
He holds a degree in Business and Administration from the Portuguese Catholic University, and also attended the International Business Summer School in 2000, in Basel, Switzerland.
Stewart is a solicitor with over 13 years of corporate law experience. Prior to joining Arrow Global, he worked for Addleshaw Goddard LLP. During this time he worked principally on private company acquisitions and disposals and public fund raising, as well as gaining direct experience with the Clydesdale Bank plc and healthcare company, Assura Group Limited. Stewart holds an M.A. (Hons) in economics and law from the University of Edinburgh and trained at Linklaters LLP.
Tracy has 25 years experience in Human Resources with expertise in the area of transformation and change, organisational effectiveness, talent management and employee engagement. Before she joined Arrow Global, Tracy was director and owner of Joint Resolutions Ltd. Prior to that, she has worked as a senior human resources professional predominantly in the service sector supporting a broad range of private equity, corporate and privately owned organisations from retail banking, insurance, mobile, utilities and food services to undertake large change and transformation programmes. Tracy holds an honours degree in Business from the University of Central England.
Clodagh joins Arrow from GE Capital, where she spent 17 years in various risk roles including Chief Risk Officer of GE’s UK business and Chief Credit Officer of GE Capital’s Global Consumer Finance business. Clodagh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a depth of experience in managing all aspects risk including credit, conduct, operational, financial and enterprise across European portfolios, but in particular in the UK, Portugal, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
